The Pediatric Complex Care Association’s advocacy efforts provide a national voice to our member organizations by offering information, assistance and advice to legislators and government agencies. We believe that it is essential to share the expertise and challenges of our member organizations with legislators, regulators, and health care agencies as we work to build solutions and support and strive to provide the best in care for these special children and their families.
Our Advocacy Committee is responsible for:
- Developing and implementing an advocacy plan to include strategies for advancing our agenda/priorities and key partnerships
- Providing member education and resources related to advocacy
- Representing the Association and its member organizations on federal issues
- Providing state-related advocacy support to individual PCCA members as requested and appropriate
